Review: Prof. Jason Wang
CS634 - Data Mining
Summary:
Prof. Jason teaches well and discusses difficult concepts in a very easy manner. However, he is very strict about deadlines and you won't get any marks for your homework if you hand it in late.Things to remember:
- He gives practical examples in class which makes understanding the concepts easier
- Homework assigns for 30% of the grade and so students need to work on this serioulsy
- The review sessions held before the exams are quite beneficial and students need to attend them
Midterm consisted of an easy project and the finals were easy as well. If you do your homework sincerely its an easy A.
