Prof. Mahgoub has an in-depth understanding of the subject he teaches. This is reflected vividly throughout his lectures. The content of his lecture can be tough but he breaks them down into simpler terms and makes sure his students understand the topic.Some things to consider:
- He uses extensive real-world examples which helps students understand the topics in a way so that they can be retained for a long time
- He is available for clearing doubts over email, at any point of the day
- The portions which come in exams are mostly covered during his lectures
Attending all his classes and actively participating in them, makes exams easier to tackle. His questions can be tricky at times and hence requires an in-depth knowledge of the subject. The grading system is quite fair. Students rarely complain about the grades assigned by him, if they have attended his classes and completed their homework on time.
